Girl Power 2 Cure is a dedicated and vibrant nonprofit organization leading a movement to end Rett Syndrome, a severe neurological disorder that primarily affects girls. Rett Syndrome is debilitating and robs girls of their ability to walk, speak, or use their hands forever.
This is unacceptable.
Not many people we spoke with had heard of this terrible condition. That needs to change.

Dream Big
Last night I had another dream
I dreamed that I could fly
when I woke up in the morning
I lay there staring at the sky
I lay there and I wondered
what it is you dream about
a voice, a walk, a fingertip
a song, a dance, a shout
Or if you simply dreamed of doing
all those tiny things that Rett has taken
does it steal them all again
every time that you awaken
I wondered if while I am dreaming big
you are dreaming small
and if all these dreams, I’m dreaming
aren’t your dreams at all
I dream that we will beat this
when I go to sleep at night
and I hope all your dreams are bliss
because every second you’re awake
you fight, you fight, you fight.
