Nick Foles; SuperMan of Faith

Minnesota-Nick Foles has shocked a lot of people, being the first MVP since Tom Brady to win a Super Bowl being a backup QB, but his journey has always been surrounded by his faith in his family, as well as the lord. He has talked about his faith in so many presses conferences, as well as being a motivational speaker for others.

“When I speak to (students), that’s such a time of young men and young women’s lives that there’s a lot of things that are thrown at them. So much temptation in this world, so much going on with social media and the internet that you want to talk to them and address it and share all the weaknesses I have because I’ve fallen many times,” Foles said. “It’s something I want to do. I can’t play football forever. I’ve been blessed with an amazing platform and it’s just a door God has opened, but I still have a lot of schools left and a long journey.”

Foles had to overcome so much adversity this season, as he became the starter after Carson Wentz had torn his ACL, but he was the quiet storm that the Eagles needed. He did not speak much, but let his actions talk on the field.  He slowly climbed his way back into the talk of being the hottest QB in the playoffs with having a QB rating over 100. He silenced every critic that criticized him and put up outstanding numbers against the team that was the heavy favorites. He punished the Pats’ defense with being flawless, reading the defense, and letting it all out on the field. With him being behind center the Eagles piled up over 500 yards of total offense and shocked the world.
