Rich Eisen to be Honored at Legends for Charity Dinner

The Legends for Charity Dinner benefiting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is set to kickoff this week at the Marriott Marquis in Downtown Houston as the city gears up for Super Bowl LI. The annual dinner taking place on Thursday, February 2nd at 5 p.m., will honor Rich Eisen, NFL Network Studio Host and Host of AT&T’s The Rich Eisen Show, with the Pat Summerall Award. Mike Tirico will serve as emcee and Joe Buck will present the FOX Sports & AT&T Award.

Each year, The Pat Summerall Award recognizes a person who has made a significant contribution in the sports field. The award was created in honor of the late beloved legendary broadcaster for his contributions to the NFL for more than 50 years. Past honorees include James Brown, Greg Gumbel, Jim Nantz, Chris Berman, Cris Collinsworth, The NFL ON FOX, Al Michaels, Archie Manning, Michael Strahan, Joe Buck and John Madden.

While celebrating Eisen’s life and career with video tributes and guest speakers, attendees will be supporting the miracles performed by St. Jude every day. Last year’s event raised more than $350,000 to help ensure that families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food — because all a family should worry about is helping their child live.

Guests will also enjoy a cocktail hour and dinner. For tickets, visit www.legendsforcharity.com
