On Saturday, September 14th Chef Plum will be a featured part of the 27th Annual Taste of Greater Danbury in Connecticut. Fun is a big element in the showcase of cooking talents and engaging audience members. “With a focus on food based around football and tailgating, we want to give it a block party feel,” Chef Plum said.

“It’s going to be a lot of fun. Like Chef said, I believe the atmosphere will feel like it’s a block party and we hope to bring a bit of the kickoff weekend excitement to the event,” said Melissa Mahler, Founder of Pro Player Insiders.

Both Chef and Melissa want fans and foodies to watch and enjoy what’s happening on stage and participate. The tent will be open for the fans to get involved and feel a part of the event.

“To engage fans, we might ask them their favorite touchdown dances and have them on stage sharing the dances,” Melissa said.

“We just want to show the people of Danbury a great time,” Chef Plum said. With great food, dancing and athletes, Saturday should be a night to remember for Danbury.
