Inside the Rookie Debut “One Team” Celebration

Cipriani Wall Street in New York City was the place to be on Saturday night for the 2011 NFL Rookie Debut Reception. Former Pro Bowl running back/kick returner Brian Mitchell and three-time Super Bowl champion linebacker Willie McGinest hosted the party, while dozens of other football players from the past, present and future were in attendance including St. Louis Rams running back and Super Bowl champion Marshall Faulk.

Doug E. Fresh started the night with a mix of his old school hits and danced to some current radio chart toppers like “Teach Me How to Dougie”.

Snoop Dogg then graced the stage wearing a One Team jersey and got the crowd going with his unique performance including his hit “Drop It Like It’s Hot”. The new NFL rookies even came onstage with Snoop during his performance.

Some of the attendees and high draft picks included Patrick Peterson, Blaine Gabbert, linebacker Von Miller of Texas A&M and last year’s Heisman winner running back Mark Ingram of Alabama.

Football fans had the chance to get an up-close look at the newest addition of NFL rookies live on YouTube. The live stream during the event included exclusive backstage access, performances and red carpet interviews.

The night went off without a hitch thanks to all of the planning from the NFL Players Association. Congratulations once again to all of this year’s NFL Rookies.
