Bills are 4-0 After a Wild Comeback

Buffalo- For the first time in franchise history, the Buffalo Bills are 4-0 in preseason play after a game-winning drive by Tyree Jackson with eight seconds left in regulation. Jackson threw a touchdown pass to David Sills, which put the Bills up 27-23 over the Vikings.

In the first half, the Bills offense was very stagnant. They could not get into rhythm and Jackson looked like he was nervous taking more snaps than what he was accustom of taking. The Bills’ defense was letting the Vikings gain big yardage down the field and so many miscommunications in the middle of the field. However, the Bills straightened it up in the 4th quarter.

After knocking down a couple of field goals and getting the Vikings off the field, the Bills started their miracle magic. Down 23-6, Jackson decided that he was going to do whatever he could to make it a game. Early in the 4th quarter, Jackson called his own number to run a bootleg to the outside and score, but just before he broke the goal, he fumbled the ball in the endzone. Victor Bolden Jr. saved the Bills and recovered the fumble.

After a three and out by the Vikings. the Bills’ special teams came out and put some points on the board. Punt returner Marcus Murphy went 79 yards to put the Bills in position with making the miracle comeback. The score was 23-20 with two minutes left, Jackson showed the Bills’ organization, why they took a chance on him. On the game-winning drive, he showed poise, guts, and made the right reads to cap off an amazing victory for the Bills.
