PITTSBURGH — The Pittsburgh Steelers have signed linebacker Stevenson Sylvester to a one-year contract, the team announced today.
Sylvester was originally drafted by Pittsburgh in the fifth round (166th overall) of the 2010 NFL Draft. He has seen action in 41 career games with one start and has seen action in four postseason contests.
Sylvester has excelled on special teams, recording 23 tackles and two forced fumbles in three seasons.
