Seahawks 17, Packers 10
Friday night the Seattle Seahawks traveled to Lambeau Field to take on the Green Bay Packers in a preseason matchup. On this night the Seahawks were victorious, as the left Green Bay with a 17-10 win.
The Seahawks played their starters through most of three quarters as they move closer towards the preseason. Russell Wilson was 11 of 17 for 126 yards and 2 interceptions. Christine Michael led the Seahawks in rushing with 97 yards and a touchdown on only 11 carries. Marshawn Lynch had carried the ball three times for eight yards.
Green Bay quarterback Aaron Rodgers only played the first quarter going 4 of 7 for 41 yards. The Packers running game had a tough time getting going against a solid Seattle defense. Running back Eddie Lacy had eight carries and -5 yards rushing. The Packers also fumbled the ball four times throughout the game, but managed to recover two of them.
The Seahawks prevailed over the Packers in tonight’s preseason matchup, however don’t be surprised to see this matchup again in this years post season.
