Houston Texans quarterback Matt Schaub helped lead the Texans to their first ever AFC South Division Title and the Texans first playoff appearance ever before going down in week 10 with a season ending injury. Well Schaub delivered again as his Gr8 Hope Foundation will deliver a $200 thousand check to Texas Children’s Hospital West Campus on Monday.
Schaub created the foundation in 2011 with his wife Laurie and dedicated the foundation’s mission to provide resources and support that promotes lasting improvements and healing to children with medical needs.
The largest event of the Gr8 Hope Foundation is the Hope Can Heal Gala and Golf Classic, which was held this past April 15th and 16th.
In its first year the foundation presented a $108 thousand check to the hospital.
