Injuries steal the show

Usually, everyday of training camp in the National Football League is big sports news. However, only one thing can trump that and that is injuries and that was the case Tuesday for the Colts.

According to the Indianapolis Star, Indianapolis Colts linebacker A.J. Edds and offensive lineman Ben Ijalana have been lost for the season as MRI results have shown the pair have torn ACL injuries.

This is the second time Ijalana tore the  ACL in his left knee. Ijalana tore it originally last year in week four against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. This puts Ijalana’s career in serious jeopardy as one more ACL tear in his left knee may mean the end of his career as no player in the history of the NFL has comeback after three ACL tears to the same knee.

However, that may change as Carolina Pather linebacker Thomas Davis is attempting to do just that.
