Ashley Firmin Harris, wife of defensive lineman Tommie Harris was put on life support Sunday, and has passed away later that evening. She is believed to have suffered either a stroke or a brain aneurism. Tommie Harris played for seven years with the Chicago Bears, and was with the San Diego Chargers this past season.
I didn’t know Ashley well. Just as an extremely sweet, kind and gracious client that I had the pleasure of making a jersey for her to wear to the playoffs last year. She was very easy to please. The only real instruction she gave me was to put Psalm 91 on her jersey somewhere. I am so grieved for Tommie and the sweet little babies (5-years and 4 months) she has left behind as such a very young age.
We are never promised tomorrow and we never know what tomorrow might bring. We should always live each day as if it is THE DAY we will meet our maker.
May the face of the LORD shine upon Ashley as she’s welcomed into the Pearly Gates, and on Tommie and their two little ones as they navigate through this unimaginable grief and loss.
Psalm 91 – He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: My God; in him will I trust………
With deepest condolences,
