Sunday Night Preview: Cowboys vs. Texans

The Dallas Cowboys vs. the Houston Texans will be facing off Sunday night.

Here are a few things to watch in tonight’s game:

Deshaun Watson vs. the Cowboys pass rush:

Quarterback Watson is going to have his hands full against a Cowboys defense looking to get after the young, up and coming quarterback. Already in the month of September, Watson has been sacked 17 times. The Cowboys defense will surely look to get to the quarterback quick in order to defend against the threat that Watson poses.

Ezekiel Elliott:

As always, Elliott will be fun to watch on the big stage. He’s currently the NFL’s leading rusher, averaging 106.5 yards per game. Going against Houston’s run defense, ranked 9th in the league, Elliott will be facing above average competition. However, it will be Houston’s job to tackle and contain Elliott, considering the pressure that Watson and the offensive unit should be facing.

Dak Prescott:

Much like Watson, Prescott has a bright future ahead of him and has shown to be a competitor in any situation. Last week, Prescott threw for 255 yards and two touchdowns in a 26-24 nail biter against the Detroit Lions. It won’t be easy for Prescott, considering he’s not playing on his home field. However, if he and Elliott can get the chains going, the game could open up rather quickly.
