Shaquem Griffin; A man that Stands on Faith can Overcome Anything

Dallas, TX- There has been a lot of amazing and inspiring stories that have clinched the hearts of Americans, but the one story that has inspired many people is the story of Shaquem Griffin. Griffin has defied all odds by making the best with having only one hand due to amniotic band syndrome at a very early age. However, he had a great and supportive family that pushed him to become better. “My brother pushed me and it was always a competition between the both of us. He would not let me quit on myself and always pushed me to go that extra mile. During any adversity that I faced, I always had faith in God. My faith has helped me become an improved individual daily.”

The true testament of how remarkable Griffon’s talents were was when it was displayed in the combine this year. He has the fastest time that a linebacker has run with a 4.38 since 2003, has the same time that his twin brother Shaquill has when he ran the 40, and dominated on the bench press with 20 reps using a prosthetic arm. His ambition, dedication, and his charm have won the hearts of America. As the NFL Draft is taking shape with what teams are interested in the draftees, there is speculation that he could possibly land alongside his brother in Seattle, but he has stated, whatever happens, he is glad and blessed that God has allowed him to be here.

Griffin is projected to go late third or fourth round, but a lot of people are saying that he has the mechanism of a great player and could see him go earlier than that. He has the will and desire to win and challenges himself and others to excel, goes out on the field and leaves it all out there, and just loves to inspire and encourage people. “I am very blessed that people look up to me. Honestly, it is an honor. I personally feel that whatever you do, you have to do it to the best of your ability.”

The NFL Draft will start Thursday at 8:00 pm E/T and 5:00 pm P/T.
