NFL mom and Pro Player Insider Annette Delao shares pictures and videos of her rookie son, Saint’s Kenny Stills, as he throws out the first pitch at the Padres game.
Delao says,” It was so exciting to see my son, as a San Diego native, throw the first pitch. He began here in San Diego playing at La Costa Canyon High School, then went to play as an Oklahoma Sooner, and then got drafted this year to the New Orleans Saints. Now he is in Petco Park throwing out the first pitch.”
Tony Jefferson, fellow Oklahoma Sooner and recent undrafted free agent for the Arizona Cardinals, was on field with Stills and tweeted, “@tonyjefferson1: Kenny threw a strike guys! Woo.”
The Padres had a rocky start but rallied and eventually cut the lead to one when Chris Denorfia hit an RBI single in the seventh inning and again cut the lead to one in the eighth on Chase Headley’s RBI single, but in the end they couldn’t catch the Rockies.
