On Wednesday, members of the media were given a tour of what fans can expect to see at the Texas-sized NFL Draft Experience. Set to open to the public at Noon on April 26th, the NFL Draft Experience will span a whopping 26 football fields, the largest free festival ever created by the NFL. Located outdoors on the east side of the stadium, the activities available to fans are sure to create memories that will last a lifetime.
First and foremost, fans are encouraged to register for Fan Mobile Pass. Once registered fans can check in at the NFL Draft Experience in hopes of winning standby theatre tickets to the Draft. The app will also provide fans a venue map, a schedule of events, and an opportunity to earn badges based on their participation within the available experiences.
Even if you don’t win tickets inside, there is still plenty of fun going on outside. Have you ever seen a Super Bowl trophy? Well, all five of the Vince Lombardi trophies won by the Dallas Cowboys will be on display. Not impressed? How about a display of all 51 Super Bowl rings (the 52nd ring has yet to be created)? Once you’ve checked out the hardware, take a stroll on over to the Locker Room where all 32 teams have a locker representing one of their player’s authentic uniforms. One of the more exciting parts of the Draft Experience will most definitely be The Combine Corner, where fans can test their skills in a number of drills from the vertical jump to the Hail Mary. Once you’ve performed well enough at the combine, make your way to the mock NFL Draft Set where you will have an opportunity to hold up your favorite team’s jersey for a photo op, podium and all.
After earning all of the badges available, participants will surely have worked up an appetite. Luckily for them, there is more food than activities. Food vendors joining the event will be: Authentic Al Pastor By Legends Hospitality, El Tacaso, Fletcher’s Corny Dogs, Texas BBQ By Legends Hospitality, Soulgood, Southern Fried By Legends Hospitality, Star Classics By Legends Hospitality, Torchy’s Tacos, Ascension Coffee & Panini, Crushcraft Thai Eats, Desperados, Doc’s Street Grill, F&F Express, Fat Chicken, Ms. Daisy’s Cajun Chicken, Off The Bone BBQ, Rollin Stone, Roots Chicken Shak, Walt Garrison BBQ, and Woodshed Smokehouse.
Before you go, don’t forget to stop by the autograph stage where current and former players will be signing autographs. The NFL Draft Experience will be open to the public from:
Thursday, April 26: 12pm-10pm
Friday, April 27: 12pm-10pm
Saturday, April 28: 10pm-6pm
