It’s a Week 1 Rematch, Folks. If one looks back into the excitement of Week 1, they may recall the Green Bay Packers playing the Niners in cheesehead nation. The Green Bay Packers will face off against the San Francisco 49ers January 12 at 8:00 ET for the NFC Division. The winner will move on to play in the NFC Championship game.
In week 1 Aaron Rodgers truly did have a stellar game. Rodgers led the passing game with 44 attempts, 30 completions
for 303 Yards, and 2 Touchdowns.
While Frank Gore exploded. Gore the Niners go to machine lead the running game with 16 carries for 112 yards and a touchdown, the 49ers pulled away with the victory and won 30-22 in Green Bay.
This time around it will be Green Bay coming to San Fran with their high-powered offense.
Early in the season it was Alex Smith vs. Aaron Rodgers, but this time it will look very different. Rookie versus Veteran with Colin Kapernick stepping up to battle Rodgers.
Look for Aldon Smith, the 49ers leading sack holder, to go after Rodgers. Smith is a beast that will be thirsty and ready to play.
For Green Bay, DuJuan Harris, will be running at Justin Smith and the right side of the offensive line.
The winner of this game will be sitting happy in the NFC Championship Game and maybe a trip to the Super Bowl. Week 1 means nothing now…it’s all about the rematch.
