According to Steelers beat writer Ed Bouchette, WR Hines Ward wants to return for a 15th NFL season in 2012. The 35-year-old finished with just 46 catches, 381 yards, and 2 TDs this past year — his lowest marks since his rookie campaign back in 1998. By the end of the season, he’d fallen to 5th on the depth chart. Ward still has 2 years on his contract with the Steelers, but the team isn’t expected to bring him back. Hines could get a 1-year deal with a team looking for a veteran presence, but he won’t be a fantasy factor.
