ESPN’s Adam Schefter has just reported that the Denver Broncos and head coach John Fox have mutually agreed to part ways.
Fox is 127-95 in his 13 years as a head coach, including 49-21 in the past four years in Denver, including 40-12 the last three years with Peyton Manning at quarterback for the Broncos, who was non-committal about his status for next season following the team’s 24-13 loss in the divisional round to the Indianapolis Colts. Fox could be a hot coaching candidate now that he is on the open market, with his departure making Denver the seventh team that will switch head coaches this offseason.
