Bolts Bag Stevie Johnson

The San Diego Chargers have signed former Buffalo Bills and San Francisco Forty Niner wide receiver Stevie Johnson to a three year deal reportedly worth up to $10.5 million dollars.

Johnson was drafted by the Buffalo Bills in the seventh round, pick number 224, out of Kentucky. He spent six years in Buffalo before being traded to the San Francisco Forty Niners during the 2014 NFL draft for a conditional fourth round pick. Johnson played in thirteen games for the Niners catching 35 passes for 435 yards and three touchdowns. In his seven year career, he has played in 89 games with 336 receptions for 4,267 yards and 31 touchdowns.

Solid twitter name Stevie by the way. John Trabolta is outstanding.

It’s a good move for a Chargers team in need of an upgrade at the position as well as for Johnson, who will finally play in a legitimate passing attack with a good quarterback. Congrats to him and to the Chargers and good luck in the coming season!
