The most popular face in Arizona for the last two years would have to be by far Head Coach Bruce Arians of the Arizona Cardinals. Coach Arians has made several appearances after collecting his second coach of the year award in three years. Monday night Arians held another celebrity function to raise awareness for his Arians Family Foundation and Voices for Casa Children of Maricopa County, which is a foundation helping to raise money for abused children in Arizona.
The foundation was founded by Bruce and his wife Christine in their days in Indianapolis, and now it has been a staple here in the Arizona community the last two two years and counting. Coach came solo this Monday night with the patented kangol hat and smile, as Pro player insiders was on the scene with an interview and coach was in his usual swagger mood as he explained to us the meaning for the dinner.

“When my wife and I formed this foundation it was to fight for kids that otherwise could not fight for themselves” Arians also added ” its great to have this much support for the foundation and thank Steak44 for sponsoring it and this is for a great cause for the children of Maricopa County”

The event was an elegant steak dinner held at the famous Steak44 restaurant in Scottsdale where the majority of guests were current and ex-Cardinals players.

So far the vibe this off-season has been one of a team banding together for the reaching of their collective goal for the up coming season. This event had that exact feel as player after player showed up to support coach Arians and his cause. The teams heavy hitters were out in style walking the red carpet and speaking to the media, including the man with the most important knee in Arizona quarterback Carson Palmer.

With Media anticipating the words from his mouth, Palmer made his rounds calmly and seemingly with joy to do so, as he is not seen at public functions to often. When asked what this meant to him to come and support his coach, Palmer said

“This means everything to me and I love what coach does for these kids day in and day out, it just goes to show what type of man he is, and I would not miss this for the world”

Showing up in the blue jeans and an untucked collar shirt, the casual quarterback looked very comfortable walking on the recently surgically repaired knee. Palmer gave Pro Player Insiders the latest on the knee saying briefly

” The knee is great and I’m ready to go”

Sounds like he is tired of talking about it and ready to prove it. The guest list also included: Drew Stanton, Andre Ellington,Michael Floyd, John Brown, Jarad Veldheer, Jaron Brown, Kerwin Williams, Frostee Rucker, Matt Shaughnessy, Tony Jefferson, Rashad Johnson, Jerraud Powers, and even a new comer to the Cardinals this year line backer Corey Peters.

The Cardinal owner Michael Bidwell and General Manager Steve Keim were also in attendance showing their support for Coach and his cause, along with a host of other celebrities outside of football showing gratitude for Arians as humanitarian and friend.

In the wake of a mini-camp the following day Coach Arians says he was looking forward to getting things up and running for the season and this is a chance to relax and have fun before the hard work begins.
