Packers 42 Texans 24

Heading in to their first ever appearance on Sunday Night Football the Houston Texans were 5-0 and the last undefeated team in the AFC. The Green Bay Packers and Aaron Rodgers came to town with whispers abound that they were far from the team that finished 15-1 last season. The Houston Texans are no longer undefeated.

Aaron Rodgers passed for nearly 340 yards and threw 6 touchdowns to 3 different wide receivers. Jordy Nelson caught 9 passes for 121 yards and 3 touchdowns. James Jones caught two touchdown passes and currently leads the entire National Football League with 7 on the season.

Early the Texans looked jittery and made too many mistakes to hang with the Packers and Rodgers. Every time the Texans made a mistake, Rodgers was sure to make them pay.

Arian Foster scored two touchdowns for the Texans but failed to gain the sixty yards he needed to take over the league lead in rushing yards. Andre Johnson had 8 receptions and gained his 10,000 yard in the league. JJ Watt had two sacks and leads the league with 9.5.

Next week, the Packers (3-3) will travel to St. Louis to play the Rams and the Texans (5-1) will stay home to play the Ravens.
