Unfortunately for fans of the Minnesota Vikings, Adrian Peterson is only one guy. The Green Bay Packers survived Peterson’s heroics to defeat the Vikings 23-14.
Peterson did all he could for the Vikings rushing for 210 yards including an 82 yard touchdown run. Peterson also caught a pass from out of the backfield for 10 yards.
Unfortunately, the Vikings defense couldn’t get the Packers offense off the field. The Packers were 9 of 16 on third down and continued drives that would have been punts and later turned them into points.
Aaron Rodgers passed for 286 yards and hooked up with James Jones for a touchdown. Greg Jennings played his first game since week four and caught 4 passes for 46 yards.
Next week, the Packers (8-4) will host the Lions on Sunday Night Football, and the Vikings (6-6) will host the Bears.
