With the first of the 15 picks they have in this year’s draft, the New England Patriots took Colorado offensive lineman Nate Solder.
Analysis: The Patriots could use pass-rush help and maybe some help in the secondary, but they have tons of picks this year and can address those needs as the weekend unfolds. They decided to use the pick they got from the Raiders for Richard Seymour on Solder, a mammoth tackle out of Colorado who helps upgrade an offensive line in need of depth.
