With the 13th pick in the second round of the NFL draft, the Denver Broncos selected UCLA safety Rahim Moore.
Analysis: This is the first of two straight picks for Denver. They got this one about an hour ago from the 49ers and the next one from Miami. This one is used on a safety as the Broncos continue to try and upgrade one of the worst defenses in the league.
Alum: 2011 Hall of Fame inductee and former Broncos tight end Shannon Sharpe announced Moore’s name, saying, “Welcome to the family.”
