Pro Player Insiders is having a Party with a Purpose with celebrity hosts Wendell Pierce and Saints Will Smith.
A limited number of TICKETS are available to the public and may be purchased online by clicking HERE. Proceeds will benefit Smith’s “Where There’s A Will, There’s A Way” Foundation and Pierce’s Pontchartrain Neighborhood Association.
The Event is Friday, February 1 at The Shops at Canal Place from 4-7PM and features music, cocktails, appetizers, a silent auction and a glam bar. Will Smith and Wendell Pierce will be joined by other celebrities from sports and entertainment.
What could be better for a Super Bowl event in New Orleans than mixing one of the cities biggest sports stars with one of the cities biggest entertainers? The New Orleans Saint’s Pro Bowler Will Smith said, “It was a no-brainer to team up with Wendell,” referring to Wendell Pierce, the film and television star and New Orleans native.
Will Smith and Wendell Pierce will host a Pro Player Insiders VIP benefit for New Orleans Charities on February 1st at The Shops at Canal Place. On top of these two Big Easy stars, the event will be flooded with a long list of celebrity guests, including Hall of Famers, current Pro Bowlers, Hollywood celebrities and many more.
This event will not only have stars galore, but features music, cocktails, appetizers, a silent auction and a glam bar. And to top it all off, all of this will help to support a great cause. Will Smith, the defensive end for the New Orleans Saints, will be representing his “Where There’s a Will There’s A Way Foundation” which is focused on leading youth to achieving greatness.
Wendell Pierce’s list of work is far too long to name, but is best known for his work as Detective Bunk Moreland in the HBO drama “The Wire.” Pierce will be representing his Pontchartrain Neighborhood Association, which has been rebuilding the heart of New Orleans since Hurricane Katrina. With the work Smith and Peirce support outside of their respected professions, their stardom extends beyond football and the camera.
