Some football players simply can’t get enough of the gridiron.
Despite the current lockout situation, Buffalo Bills cornerback Drayton Florence said via a Twitter message directed at Virginia Destroyers coach Marty Schottenheimer that he’d offer his services, “as a defensive back coach until the lockout is over.”
Florence and Schottenheimer are familiar with one another from their days in San Diego. The opportunity, if it happens, would allow Florence to stay involved with the sport he loves.
