It seems as though new Texans LB coach Reggie Herring only appears pulicly these days for the purpose of singing Brian Cushing’s praises. The latest came Thursday, when he told Nick Scurfield of HoustonTexans.com that Cushing is a "coach’s dream of a Mike linebacker." Herring said Cushing is slightly taller, bigger and faster than the typical player at the position. The defensive staff really seems to be expecting big things from the ILB in Wade Phillips’ new 3-4 scheme.
