The Indianapolis Colts have found something to celebrate – they will be adding former wide receiver Marvin Harrison to the team’s ring of honor this month.
Harrison had 1,102 receptions for 14,580 yards and 128 touchdowns during his career in Indianapolis, putting him in the top ten in all three categories.
Harrison is number 6 all-time for receiving yards, number 5 for TDs and number 3 for receptions. Tony Gonzalez just passed Harrison last week to displace him from the number 2 slot on receptions. Jerry Rice holds the number one spot in all three categories.
No word on when the induction will be, but owner Jim Irsay tweeted, “The mystical,reclusive,fantastic Mr. Marvin Harrison will return 2 town this month 2 stroll the fields of Lucas! #18 may even chuck1 2him!”
