Earlier this morning on Twitter, NFL Media reporter Ian Rapoport said that Miami Dolphins guard/tackle Laremy Tunsil’s shoulder injury that he suffered last week against the Los Angeles Rams isn’t considered serious. On Wednesday, Dolphins offensive coordinator Clyde Christensen said Rapoport’s report wasn’t accurate.
The shoulder injury that caused #Dolphins LT Laremy Tunsil to leave Sunday’s game is not believed to be a major one, source said.

Christensen said it is “50-50” if Tunsil will play against the San Francisco 49ers this Sunday. Last week, Tunsil started at tackle for Branden Albert, who himself is recovering from a wrist injury that is expected to keep him out two-to-three weeks.
While Christensen didn’t downplay the report, he did not say Tunsil’s injury was or was not serious. Tunsil was out on the practice field during the media viewing portion of practice. He did say Albert has been rehabbing like crazy with hopes to play as soon as possible.
“I’m hoping they all make a miraculous recovery,” Christensen said during his weekly press conference on Wednesday.
In all Christensen also means center Mike Pouncey, who also missed last week’s game against the Rams as he re-injured his hip. Prior to the Rams game during practice, Pouncey suffered the injury on the same him that keep him out of the team’s first four games of the regular season.
He reportedly met with a specialist last week, who looked at his hip. While Pouncey’s injury sidelined him for the Rams games, it isn’t considered serious.
If Tunsil, Albert and Pouncey do not play against the 49ers on Sunday, expect the Dolphins to go with Sam Young at left tackle, Kraig Urbik at left guard and Anthony Steen at center.
