Report: Frank Gore Choses Colts, Reaches Expected Three-Year Deal

After spending ten years with the San Francisco 49ers, it looks like free agent running back Frank Gore has decided on a new place to call home.

A source told ESPN’s Adam Schefter that the 31-year-old running back will sign with the Indianapolis Colts after changing his mind about joining the Philadelphia Eagles.

The deal is expected to be similar to the three-year, $12 million offer that Gore received from the Eagles according to the source. It is also expected to include $7.5 million in guaranteed money.

Gore has been very productive in recent years, rushing for over 1,000 yards in each of the past four seasons. He has averaged 4.4 yards a carry over that span.

In his career, the five-time Pro Bowler has rushed for 11,073 yards and 75 total-touchdowns in 148 games played.
