On Sunday, young fans will get to realize their dream by competing in an NFL Stadium. Kids ages 6-15 will compete in the NFL Punt, Pass & Kick Team qualifiers on Sunday, Dec. 7, at Sun Life Stadium.
All contestants will be recognized before Sunday’s contest between the Miami Dolphins and the Baltimore Ravens. Competitors will be split up in five age groups for both boys and girls starting at 9:00 a.m.
Every entrants will launch one punt, one pass and one kick with scores based on distance and accuracy. The top four scorers in each age group will qualify as a national finalist for the National Championships, which will be held during an NFL playoff game.
NFL Punt, Pass & Kick is the nation’s largest grassroots sports skills competition. The event began in 1961 and has included Pro Football Hall of Fame quarterbacks Troy Aikman and Dan Marino, who were NFL Punt, Pass & Kick competitors when they were kids.
