Washington Redskins: Senior Bowl (Offensive Rankings)

The Washington Redskins talent evaluators will be in Mobile, Alabama this week to get an in-person look at some of the top talent in the 2015 NFL Draft. This will be Scot McCloughan’s first Senior Bowl as General Manager of the team.

It wouldn’t be surprising if a few future Redskins suit-up for this game. There’s always player(s) who tend to raise their stock at the Senior Bowl. For McCloughan, most recently, he fell in love with Russell Wilson at the Senior Bowl. So, it’s a game that certainly packs some top tier talent.

The Washington Redskins have needs across the board. But below I’ll list rankings of the positions I believe the Redskins could upgrade in April’s draft. I added Quarterbacks, because you never know if the team could take one mid to late rounds.

Senior Bowl Offensive Tackles:

la'el collins(Star)

****1. La’el Collins, LSU: I’m a really big fan of La’el. He’s my top offensive lineman in this draft. I think he could raise his stock to being a top-10 overall guy this week.

2. T.J Clemmings, Pittsburgh (Could be a riser)

3. Jake Fisher, Oregon

4. Ty Sambrailo, Colorado State

5. Darryl Williams, Oklahoma

Best of the Rest:

Austin Shepherd, Alabama; Rob Havenstein, Wisconsin; Tayo Fabuluje, TCU

Senior Bowl Offensive Guards:

(stars)
****1. Josue Matias, Florida State (Update: Dropped out the Senior Bowl)

****2. Arie Kouandjio, Alabama

-Both these players could be second round picks and become immediate starters for a club.

3. Laken Tomlinson, Duke (could be a riser)

4. Tre’ Jackson, Florida State

5. Robert Myers, Tennessee State

6. Shaq Mason, Georgia Tech

Senior Bowl Wide Receivers:

****1. Kevin White, WVU: This is my top overall receiver. I think when it’s all said and done, Kevin White could be the first selected WR. (Update: White backed out the Senior Bowl with a non-injury excuse. The committee was not happy with how he handled it.)

2. Sammie Coats, Auburn

3. Rashad Greene, Florida State

4a. Josh Harper, Fresno State

4b. Justin Hardy, East Carolina
