With all the fuss this week over the Jets-Giants game, who meet once every four years for football bragging rights in the Big Apple, Giants DE Justin Tuck weighed in on who really owns New York.
“We got a lot of catching up to get to, what is it … 27 rings now the Yankees got?” Tuck asked. “They run New York if you want to talk about running New York.”
Both the Giants and the Jets are in a position to make the playoffs, but both need to win to stay alive, and only one can. And neither team is seriously threatening the Yankees championship record, although all time – the Giants are ahead in Super Bowl victories 3-1, with the Jets sole Super Bowl win coming with Joe Namath at the helm in 1969.
