Pittsburgh Steelers’ center Maurkice Pouncey’s availability for Sunday’s playoff game against the Denver Broncos has come into question as he has been having trouble with his left ankle.
The Pro Bowl center said, “My ankle isn’t feeling right.” He skipped practice on Thursday.
Pouncey said he plans to play against the Broncos, but his offensive coordinator was less definitive.
“With these things you never know,” OC Bruce Arians said. “It could be weather related, it can be anything. It just got sore and we`ll see what happens tomorrow.”
Quarterback Ben Roethlisberger continues to be hobbled with a high ankle sprain as well, but he went through a full practice on Thursday and is expected to play.
