Smith and Goodell Sign New CBA at HoF in Canton

The new 10-year collective bargaining agreement between the NFL and its players, ratified yesterday by a player vote, was executed today by NFLPA Executive Director DeMaurice Smith and NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell in a ceremony in front of the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio.

“It’s a great day for our fans,” Smith said after the signing.  “Any time you can be in a place like Canton and be surrounded by the men who made our game great, and to do it on a day where we’re celebrating the signing of a Collective Bargaining Agreement is special.”
