Packers RB Ryan Grant says that he’s been told by the coaching staff that he’s still the team’s starting RB. “RBs coach [Jerry Fontenot] told me that as of right now I’m still the leader of the backfield and the expectations won’t change,” Grant said. “I do believe there will be competition, which is fine. I’m all for that.” Grant will need to fend off RB James Starks for the starting spot this summer. Our money is on Grant being officially named the starter, but this will be a timeshare regardless.
