Surely influence by what has become a growing trend among players league-wide, the Baltimore Ravens will be starting player-only workouts later this month. Without the usual practice facilities at their disposal, players are put in the unusual position of having to organize their own workouts. At least 20 players are expected to be attending. From May 24-26, the workouts, organized by Ravens wide receiver Derrick Mason, will be taking place at Towson University. From 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. the players will be training in the university’s weight room before participating in on-field workouts until noon.
