Broncos QB Peyton Manning had another up-an-down performance in his 2nd preseason game. He finished 16 of 23 for 177 yards but tossed 2 INTs and 0 INTs. He missed a couple open receivers, and a few of his passes were wobbly. But TE Jacob Tamme dropped a TD. And Manning looked masterful in the 2-minute drill, completing 8 of 11 passes for 87 yards. He also took a couple hits and bounced right back up each time. "We can build on this," Manning said afterwards. "But there were some things we have to improve on, and some things I have to improve on. The more I play, the more comfortable I’ll get." To us, Manning’s arm looks plenty good enough to get the job done. At this point, it’s a matter of him getting comfortable with his teammates. We continue to view Peyton as a low-end QB1, although we’re not biting at his current 6th-round ADP.
