Patriots blow out Chiefs on MNF, 34-3

The Patriots played a solid all-around game to defeat the Chiefs tonight, 34-3.

The defense forced three interceptions by first-time starter Tyler Palko that proved to be huge. Brady was Brady for the most part, and New England ran the ball for more than 150 yards.

Julian Edelman returned a punt for a touchdown as well as playing at cornerback, as the former quarterback turned wide receiver / cornerback / return specialist continued to contribute in all phases of the game.

Palko did not play poorly considering it was his first start, but made a couple of key bad decisions with the ball that were too difficult to overcome.

Rob Gronkowski hauled in two touchdown passes on the night, including one that went for 52 yards.

The Patriots travel to face the Eagles next week, while Kansas City hosts Pittsburgh on Sunday Night Football.
