Forbes magazine has released its latest list of the world’s most valuable franchises in sports. It’s no surprise that NFL teams comprise eight of the top 12 on the list.
Jerry Jones’s Dallas Cowboys rank second on the list. According to Forbes, the Cowboys are worth $1.81 billion. Daniel Snyder’s Washington Redskins come in at fourth ($1.55 billion), and Bob Kraft’s New England Patriots are listed as sixth ($1.37 billion.)
Three other NFL teams round out the top 10: the New York Giants ($1.18 billion), Houston Texans ($1.17 billion) and New York Jets ($1.14 billion.) All 32 NFL teams made the Forbes list of the top 50 most valuable teams in the world.
The numbers don’t lie, and the NFL’s dominance on the list speaks for itself. Do you think owners are doing better financially than they’re letting on? Tell us in the comments.
