NFL Combine: Wide Receiver Full Measurements

The Wide receiver group this year at the NFL Combine is extremely deep. You have Sammy Watkins from Clemson, who I compare to a faster Roddy White, Mike Evans from Texas A&M who has been compared favorably to Vincent Jackson, and the enigma Marqise Lee from USC who as a freshman 3 years ago and a sophomore 2 years ago looked like a beast, but between injuries and QB issues, had a horrible year. All 3 of these WRs could be considered future #1 type WRs in the league and will all probably be gone in the 1st half of the 1st round. However, it doesn’t end there with players like Kelvin Benjamin from Florida State and Odell Beckham from LSU, this group is stacked.

Some of the things that stood out from the measurements at the NFL Combine were Kelvin Benjamin coming in at 240 lbs and having the biggest hand size of anyone at 10 and 1/4th inches, Allen Robinson coming in at 220, which is much thicker than his normal 200 lbs listing in college, and Odell Beckham, who came in at 198 lbs with 10 inch hands, when he was thought to be around 185 in college. You could definitely tell that some of the players bulked up, now the question will be can they sustain their playing speed with the extra weight. They always say that the biggest difference between college and pro football is the speed and size. By the looks of it, these players are adjusting fine.

Below is a list of all the heights, weights, and hand lengths of all the Wide Receivers.
