New York Jets pass Bills for the win

People expect to see a good show during Thursday night football and the New York Jets and Buffalo Bills delivered on that. Both teams went in with a 50/50 shot at winning with literally no clue who might take the game.

The Jets decided they would lay the dominoes out first by scoring a field goal half-way through the first quarter. The Bills were not going to let it go unanswered, they scored a TD less than a minute later.  It was an 84 yarder by Marquise Goodwin that shocked even the Jets fans.

The second quarter definitely was the Jets dominating time and the Bills didn’t seem to be able to stop them one bit. By the start of the third quarter they were ready to get back to work. It must have been a heated lecture happening during halftime.

Less than a minute into the third quarter the Bills were driving down the field with a 71-yard passing TD by Greg Salas. They did not want to get left in the dust, yet even with fumble recovery TD by Nickell Robey – Coleman that shocked the fans.

They were not able to hold on to their lead for long, with the Jets scoring two TDs and 1 field without the upmost reluctance from the Bills. In the end, the Bills were able to score one last TD bringing the score to 37-31 but it wasn’t enough. The game had some spice and flare at moments but the end result was a lost the Buffalo Bills.

They fought hard but did not have the ability to hold on to the lead they had for part of the game. Goodman gave an amazing show though with his 2 receptions for 108 yards and 1 TD.

If the running backs and other wide receivers can follow in his footsteps and Tyrod Taylor can connect with his receivers then next game should be a good one to watch. Catch them at New England on Sunday October 2 at 10 a.m.
