Nate Kaeding kicking again after torn ACL

Chargers K Nate Kaeding has been kicking for a few weeks now after tearing his left ACL on the first play of the 2011 season.  “It feels good,” Kaeding said. “I think we’re ahead of schedule. I absolutely expect to come in and pick up where I left off."  Beat writer Kevin Acee confirms that Kaeding is expected to step back in as San Diego’s kicker in 2012.  Replacement Nick Novak started 17 of 18 on FGs but missed 6 of his final 16 tries.  Kaeding, meanwhile, is the most accurate kicker in NFL history, with a 86.5% conversion rate.  Assuming he has a healthy offseason, he’ll be a solid fantasy option this coming season.
