According to ESPN’s John Clayton, the Seahawks offered QB Matt Hasselbeck a 1-year, $7 million contract just prior to the lockout. That’s some nice coin for a 35-year-old who hasn’t finished a season with more TDs than INTs since 2007. If the offer still stands when the lockout is lifted, we’d be surprised to see Hasselbeck bolt from Seattle. He won’t find another team willing to pay him more.
