Mark Sanchez: Best place I could have landed

Former New York Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez couldn’t be jollier with what head coach Chip Kelly and the Philadelphia Eagle’s organization has stored for Sanchez in the near future. Talking with Reporters Thursday Sanchez had said, “I love being here. This is the best place I could have landed.”sanchiz

Sanchez had admitted he was impressed by the way Chip Kelly had come into the league and turned the Eagle’s offense into a high octane and potent one. “I just kept thinking Eagles. This is the place to be,’” Sanchez said. “I really respected what they did last year. I think they have a ton of talent, especially at the wideout position and tight end position. They’re just overflowing with guys that can play; I was really drawn here because of the offensive minds here. “I think what they did last year was just the tip of the iceberg.”

For the first time in his career as a football player Sanchez has to compete for a role to play backup and he doesn’t really care as long as he is there to help out his team; “I don’t ever lose sleep over it. It’s not a big deal,” Sanchez said. “I’m doing everything I can to help this team and if my role’s going to be help Nick get ready for the season or help Nick get ready for Week 1 or preseason games, I’m going to be ready to do whatever they need me to do.”

Coming off a shoulder injury during preseason Sanchez has improved and coach Chip Kelly has stated,” Sanchez isn’t limited by his shoulder and can make every throw in practice, but he still is getting acclimated to the Eagles’ system and made several errant throws while working with the second team Thursday.”Sanchez struggled with delivering his passes on time during his reps with the second unit, but remains optimistic with getting the system down packed. “”It’s like learning a new language,” Sanchez said of the Eagles’ complex offense. “”I don’t care about the competition; I am competing against myself and competing against the defense. I will do everything I can to help this team win.”
