Greg Jennings: Super Bowl Champ and Romantic

I’ve been outfitting Nicole Jennings and her family for at least 5 years now, maybe longer. Nicole, is the lovely bride of Super Bowl Champion receiver Greg Jennings of the UNDEFEATED Green Bay Packers. Greg always loves Nicole’s creations but she joked that his usual first comment upon seeing one of her jerseys is, “That’s nice babe, how much did it cost?” However, Greg’s real favorite is seeing his three little divas all decked out supporting him on game day.

Nicole and Greg go way back…all the way back to the 6th grade in Kalamazoo, Michigan where they met at a school band concert. They were fast friends but didn’t start dating until they were out of high school. They both went to Western Michigan University and they married in their junior year there.

Greg proposed in the most unique and unusual way. He and his siblings made a video for their mom, in which they expressed how much their mother meant to them and how much they loved her, to be played for her on Mother‘s Day. BUT at the end of the video Greg came back on the screen to express how much Nicole meant to him and how much he LOVED her and he asked her to marry him ON THE VIDEO. He then got down on bended knee to formally propose in front of the entire family. How sweet and thoughtful is that?!?!

Nicole is one of the sweetest most easygoing clients I have. I LOVE all my clients, but some are just easier to please than others. Some clients like to be involved in EVERY SINGLE STEP of the design process….but not Nicole. I LOVE that she trusts me. She sends me boxes full for jerseys for her, her mom, her sister-in-laws, her mother-in-law and her three little fashionistas: Amya (4), Alea (2) and Ayva (11 months) and tells me to just make them cute and Bellafy them.

Last year when the Packers won the Super Bowl I felt like I WON THE SUPER BOWL! I was so happy for them, because I have many clients with the Packers (many of which were referred to me by Nicole). But I was also happy to be able to see my fashionistas on the field after the game celebrating the big win in their Bella gear. I’ve also been elated to see the Packers doing phenomenally well this year! It’s so nice to see good people being blessed.
