Broomfield originally joined the Bills as an undrafted free agent after the 2014 NFL Draft. During his collegiate career, Broomfield started all 12 games for the Cyclones in 2013, racking up 57 tackles, six pass breakups and two fumble recoveries. The 6-0, 206 pound Iowa State product finished his collegiate career starting 18 games while recording 133 tackles, 16 pass breakups, three interceptions and four forced fumbles.
Campbell originally entered the NFL as a sixth round pick (178th overall) of the New York Jets in the 2013 NFL Draft. He joined the Bills practice squad during the 2014 season. The 6-4, 311 pound Michigan product did not see any action with the Jets during the 2013 season and was released prior to the start of the 2014 season. He is a native of Detroit, MI and is 23 years old.
Gaines originally joined the Bills as an undrafted free agent after the 2014 NFL Draft. During his collegiate career, Gaines started 27 of 41 career games played at Miami and he finished his career with 199 tackles, eight tackles for a loss, one forced fumble, three fumble recoveries and two interceptions. The 6-3, 240-pound linebacker is a Buffalo native and graduate of Canisius High School.
Holley originally joined the Bills after participating in the team’s rookie mini-camp on a tryout basis. The 6-4, 200-pound East Central (Oklahoma) product set a school record with 970 receiving yards in 2013, catching 55 passes with nine touchdowns. Prior to East Central, the Anchorage, Alaska native spent two years at San Francisco City College.
Johnson originally joined the Bills as an undrafted free agent during the 2014 offseason. During his collegiate career, Johnson played in 28 games with 10 starts while at West Texas A&M and he tallied 89 tackles, 16.5 tackles for a loss, eight sacks, eight QB hurries, two fumbles forced and two fumbles recovered. Johnson played at Nassau Community College (NY) before West Texas A&M and led the Lions to a 19-2 record while being named a two-time All-Conference selection.
Morrell joined the Bills after spending the 2014 preseason with the St. Louis Rams. The 6-6, 325-pound Old Dominion product entered the league in 2014 as an undrafted free agent with the Detroit Lions before joining the Rams prior to the start of training camp. Morrell is 23 and a native of Norwalk, CT.
Palmer originally entered the NFL after signing with the Jacksonville Jaguars as an undrafted free agent after the 2013 NFL Draft. He joined the Bills practice squad during the 2014 season. The 5-11, 178 pound North Carolina State product racked up 91 receptions for 1,277 yards (14.0 avg.) for 11 touchdowns during his collegiate career. Palmer, 24, is a native of Pittsboro, NC.
Sweeting entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent in 2013 with the New Orleans Saints where he played in nine games. Sweeting, a native of Miami, FL, was released by the Saints prior to the start of the 2014 regular season and joined the Miami Dolphins practice squad. He joined the Bills practice squad during the 2014 season. During his time at Georgia Tech, Sweeting recorded 160 tackles, one sack, five interceptions, 24 passes defensed, two forced fumbles and three fumble recoveries.
Towns entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent with the Washington Redskins after the 2014 NFL Draft and was released prior to the start of training camp. He joined the Bills practice squad during the 2014 season. The 6-4, 290 pound Samford College product tallied 54 tackles, 2.5 sacks and a forced fumble during his senior collegiate campaign. He is a native of Dolomite, AL and is 25.
Tuel has been with the Bills since signing with the team as an undrafted free agent after the 2013 NFL Draft. The 6-3, 221 pound Washington State product saw action in two games last season for the Bills, completing 26-of-59 pass attempts for 309 yards, one touchdown and three interceptions.
