Bills’ Goodwin’s selfless act towards Browns fan

With all the media attention that professional football players are constantly under, it is sometimes easy to forget that the players who strap on the helmet are everyday people too.

The Bills’ Marquise Goodwin showed this in a big way last night after Buffalo and Cleveland wrapped up their joint practice at St. John Fisher College.

According to Bills fan Steven Meyers, who caught the interaction on video, Goodwin crossed the practice field to make his way over to a family of Browns fans, one of which had a disabled son.

What happened next showed just how much of a class act Goodwin is.

This wasn’t done for media attention and no one would know about it if it wasn’t caught on video.

This was a player going above and beyond his normal requirements, and making sure that he could make a difference in someone’s life.

What is a “meaningless preseason game” to most, just turned into a once in a lifetime experience for a deserving family.

But hey, what do you expect from a player who spent almost two hours after practice signing autographs and taking pictures with whatever fan in attendance wanted one?
