S Amari Spievey is running as the starter at SS and reportedly impressing coaches. The second-year man was primarily a CB in college but got moved to S as a rookie. He appeared lost there in game action, though, and the team signed veteran Erik Coleman before the lockout. Coleman has starting experience with the Jets and Falcons. Spievey has played well, though, and brings added cover ability to the position. He’ll be a decent late-round IDP sleeper if things continue this way.
