Arian Forster rushed for 140 yards and a touchdown to lead the Houston Texans over the Cincinnati Bengals 19-13. For the second consecutive year, the Texans defeated the Bengals in the wild card round of the NFL playoffs.
Matt Schaub, playing in his first playoff game, passed for 268 yards. Owen Daniels had 9 catches for 91 yards.
The real story of the game was the play of the Texans defense. The Texans held Andy Dalton to only 127 passing yards and intercepted him once. The Bengals only touchdown came on defense when Leon Hall returned a Schaub pass for a touchdown. JJ Watt had 5 tackles, a sack, and deflected two passes.
Next week, the Texans will travel to New England to play the Patriots. Earlier in the season, the Patriots stomped the Texans on Monday Night Football.
